The CSOS has developed a practice-orientated training programme on the CSOS Act and Regulations. The half-day training programme is specifically tailored to the needs and information requirements of parties with an interest in or involvement in the management of a community scheme.
The CSOS is a strong advocate for education in the management and running of a community scheme. In fact, many of the cases referred to the CSOS could have been mitigated through knowledge and training. Also, the Act requires the CSOS to provide education, information, documentation and such services as may be required to raise awareness to owners, occupiers, executive committees and other persons as to their rights and obligations.
The training is free. Interested parties should send their request to firstname.lastname@example.org
The CSOS is available to conduct training or presentations at Annual General Meetings. AGM presentation requests must be submitted at least 30 days before the date of the meeting.
